Questions

Are the language games free?

Yes. All ten are free, need no sign-up and work on phones and computers.

How do the daily puzzles work?

Each game has an Easy, Medium and Hard puzzle every day, the same for everyone and renewed at midnight UTC, plus an unlimited mode for more. Your streak and personal bests are saved in your browser only.

Can I challenge a friend in the language games?

Yes. After any game, use Challenge a friend to send a link to the exact same puzzle with your score. It works exactly as it does in the geography games.

How accurate are the phrases?

We wrote each phrase ourselves and only use it when at least two independent sources agree. Anything we could not confirm twice is held back. Native-speaker review is still to come, so treat phrases as a guide.
