What we collect

GeoKnow has no accounts and does not ask for personal information. The games run in your browser.

Anonymous visit and play counts

To see which pages and games are used, the site records simple anonymous counts: the page, the game and difficulty played, a rough device type (phone-sized or larger screen), the website you came from, and the score. It does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device for this, and does not record your IP address or browser details, so it cannot identify you. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, nothing is counted.

What is stored on your device

To remember which daily puzzles you have finished, your streaks and your personal bests, the games save small amounts of data in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Server logs

Our web host may record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.

Advertising

This site may show ads from third parties such as Google AdSense in future. If it does, those providers may use cookies to serve and measure ads. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com and learn more in Google's advertising policy.
