What makes these geography games different?

Most geography games ask you to name countries on a map. These do that, and also bring in a side of geography that is often missed: how far apart places really are, which routes planes fly, and how big countries are in people instead of area. Because the games share one design, you learn the controls once and can move between them freely.

Every game has three difficulty levels. Easy is friendly and often gives you choices. Medium asks for more recall. Hard strips away the hints. Each level has its own puzzle every day, and unlimited mode lets you play on after that. Your streaks and personal bests are saved in your browser, never on a server.

Learn as you play

Alongside the games there are game guides with tips and reference facts, and a page for every country with its capital, population, neighbours and an outline map. If a game surprises you, look the country up, then play again.
