Flag Mixer

Three ways to play

Easy shows a flag and asks whose it is, with four choices. Medium names a country and shows its flag with the colours mixed up. Tap two parts to swap their colours until it is right, in as few swaps as you can. Hard names a country and gives you a blank flag and a palette. Pick a colour, tap a part of the flag, and paint the whole thing from memory.

Scoring

Each flag is rated out of 10. Name it correctly for 10 on Easy. On Medium you lose 2 points for each swap over par. On Hard you earn points for each part painted the right colour.

About the flags

The flags are simplified drawings using flat colours and basic shapes. Flags with detailed emblems, such as coats of arms, are not included. Only flags made of stripes, crosses, discs, triangles and stars are used.

Difficulty and modes

Easy, Medium and Hard each have their own puzzle every day, so there are three to play. A tick on the tab means you have finished it. Unlimited is endless survival play at the difficulty you choose: keep going until you slip, and try to beat your personal best, which is saved in your browser.
