About "Good morning"
French bonjour means "good day" and is used from morning until evening, so it appears for both hello and good morning on this site. German, Spanish and Italian have separate morning forms. Languages such as Korean and Japanese have a polite phrase that is really a morning-specific hello.
Using it
Morning greetings are usually used until around midday. After that, many languages switch to a different phrase for the afternoon or evening.
